Keerthy Suresh
Keerthy Suresh (born 17 October 1992) is an Indian actress, who is primarily in Tamil as well as Telugu films, in addition to some Malayalam films. In 2018, she received the National Film Award Best Actress Award for her performance as actress Savitri. In addition, she received an award from the Filmfare Award South and three SIIMA Awards. Keerthy is the child of producer G. Suresh Kumar and actress Menaka G. Suresh. She started her career as a child performer at the beginning of 2000 and was back in films following her studies of fashion design. In 2013, she played the role of lead actress in Geethaanjali, a Malayalam-language film. She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). Keerthy took on her very first Malayalam projects as well as started working with Tamil in parallel. In 2015 she released A. A. Vijay's romantic comedies Idhu Enna Maayam and Vikramprabhu opposite each other. But, both films did not do well in cinemas. Her busy schedule throughout 2015 meant that she had decide to pull out of projects that she was already working on, including Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye as well as Deekay's Kavalai Vendam, in order to make room for larger projects. Then, she worked on Rajini Murugan's Remo in two quick film. Additionally, Dhanush and she played the lead roles on Prabhu Solomon's Thodari. The film was pushed back in 2015, and there are reports that it would be released in September, 2020 with the name of Janakitho Nenu. In the end, the film's premiere was in the film Nenu Sailaja with actor Ram Pothineni. Keerthy made her debut in Bairavaa with Vijay, directed by Bharathan. Keerthy has also appeared as a Tamil actor in the film Paambhu Saattai, and an Telugu actor on Nenu Local.
