The Jazz performer Nancy Wilson a three-time Grammy Award winner was born February 20 1937 in the city of Chillicothe, Ohio. Her parents were ironworker Olden Wilson, and former Lillian Ryan who worked as domestic helper. Nancy Wilson was first baby of six. After a few weeks, Adderley's manager saw her performance and decided to hire her. He signed a contract with Capitol records in 1960 and she debuted the following year by releasing the single. The performance helped her land a gig at the New York Coconut Grove in 1963, America's most popular nightclub.
